Every musician has different preferences in sound, response, balance, and playability.
That is why we offer a safe and transparent trial period, allowing you to test your instrument comfortably at home.

All instruments are carefully inspected and professionally prepared in our workshop before shipment.

14-Day Trial & Returns

We offer a 14-day trial period for violins and bows, giving you the opportunity to play, test, and evaluate your purchase in your own environment.

If you are not fully satisfied with your instrument or bow, you may request a return, exchange, or refund within the trial period.

Because selecting a violin or bow is highly personal, an exchange for another instrument or bow is often the best solution. Please feel free to contact us — we are always happy to help you find the right match.

We do not charge any restocking fees.

A full refund of the purchase price will be issued after we receive and inspect the returned item, provided it is returned in the same condition in which it was sold.

For cellos, we recommend personal collection whenever possible.

Return Instructions

When returning an instrument or bow, please:

• Pack the item carefully and securely, preferably using the original packaging materials
• Ship the return from the same name and address used for the original order
• Include a copy of the original invoice
• Use a reliable shipping carrier of your choice

Please contact us before shipping the return so we can provide detailed return instructions and available shipping options.

Return Conditions

Returned items must be in the same condition as when they were originally sold.

Returns cannot be accepted if any modifications or repairs have been carried out by you or by a third-party luthier during the trial period, including but not limited to:

• Bridge adjustments or replacement
• Soundpost adjustments
• Bow rehairing
• Repairs or restoration work
• Any other modifications to the instrument or bow

In such cases, any resulting costs may be charged.

We also cannot accept returns for instruments or bows that have already been resold to another customer.

The return deadline is determined based on 14 days from the date of delivery.

For late returns outside the agreed trial period, we reserve the right to charge a fee of $25 per business day until we receive confirmation regarding purchase or return of the trial item(s).

If you wish to have any adjustments or work carried out on the instrument during the trial period, please contact us first.

International Shipping & Insurance

Customers outside the European Union are responsible for return shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, and related fees.

Additional shipping insurance is available upon request. We offer several insurance options depending on the value of the instrument and destination. Please contact us for more information.

Important Information

Most of the instruments we sell are in good original condition and professionally set up before shipment. However, some instruments may still require minor personal adjustments according to the player’s individual preferences, such as:

• String selection
• Bridge height
• Fine tonal adjustments

Please note that we are not responsible for packages that are lost, damaged, or incorrectly delivered by shipping carriers outside the European Union, as we act solely as an intermediary between the customer and the carrier.

We offer several shipping methods. Standard economy shipping does not always include full insurance coverage, so we strongly recommend selecting your shipping option carefully and contacting us beforehand if you have any questions regarding insurance or delivery services.
